Celebration Hint #2 AND #3

Something old,
Something new.
Something borrowed,
Something blue.

This hint isn’t taken,
Nor the shade of the sky.
This hint isn’t ancient,
And the knot you shan’t tie.

This one is tougher,
It may take you a while.
Use elimination,
Keep on trying; it’s worthwhile.

You must have some knowledge
Of sayings and stuff.
Of older traditions,
You can’t use Google enough.

Keep on with thinking,
Make a list of you thoughts.
Believe me when I tell you,
This won’t be for naught.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Flipping and turning,
Yet dancing I’m not.
I can be joyous or frightful,
Or with peril I’m fraught.
I don’t open and close,
Though my shields often do.
Alas, I’m being replaced,
With technology new.
The Egyptian my master,
And the Sumerians my ally,
I call out to many,
But I never reply.
There’s a new type of me,
And this you should find.
Think Atbash and kzvt.
Use Google and your mind.
